Jill & Ryan's Intimate Calgary Wedding 

 

These clips are from an intimate wedding I played at a gorgeous venue called Studios at Vic Park in Calgary, Alberta. The small number of guests made for a fun and personal reception vibe. I opened the show with the classic Nat King Cole song "L-O-V-E" for the couples first dance and then started to roll through the requests. This crowd's taste in music was eclectic and fun! Everything from Foo Fighters, Carly Rae Jepsen, Earth Wind & Fire, and even some Eminem. 

The look for this wedding was a white grand piano shell.  It just adds such an element of class and the way that lighting effects standout on it are lovely.  I also brought a wireless microphone for myself because it allows me to get out from behind the piano and interact with the crowd more. It was especially fun getting out into the space and free styling for the guests and riffing off the conversations I had with them over dinner before the dance part of the reception.
