I shared a little bit about this on my livestream last week. Many you know that our fam has been on a real journey with our youngest son. We're finally at a point where he is getting the treatment he needs but it is super expensive. The short version of this is that our youngest son, Bennett, has been diagnosed with PANS (Pediatric Acute Neuropsychiatric Syndrome). In basic terms, he has chronic inflammation caused by multiple infections, which have caused his immune system to impact his brain in multiple ways negatively. This has led to cognitive regression, tics, ocd, and sensory and energy regulation. It is treatable, and he can recover most (if not all) of the neurological function he lost.
